Sacred Art
Made from thousands of photographs, these depictions of magical appearances incorporate aspects of sacred geometry and are inspired by buddhist thangkas. The images assembled here are of sacred dancers, plants, insects, natural elements and more.

Escape Velocity
For this project I filmed at important migratory sites such as Delaware Bay (DE), Cape May (NJ) and Xalapa (Mexico). I worked with local institutions like Cape May Bird Observatory and Pronatura Veracruz. I am interested in the migratory rituals of raptors, monarch butterflies, songbirds and horseshoe craps. These astonishing movements in nature, sometimes over great distance, are endangered by environmental degradation. Fragmentation of landscape and pollution are diminishing the animals' ability to perform these ancient rituals. I contrast these fascinating movements in nature with patterns I find within our culture and our urge to travel.
